NAK MUAY is a docutorial portrait project created with fighter Sangita. Through conversations with Sangita and research into the history, traditions, and visual culture of Muay Thai, I sought to create photographs that reflected both her personal experience and the broader cultural lineage of the sport.

Rather than approaching Muay Thai solely as an athletic activity, I became interested in its visual language: the rituals, symbolism, physicality, and forms of self-presentation that surround it. Working alongside a team of stylists and creative collaborators, we used fashion not as decoration but as a way of expanding upon the cultural and personal narratives embedded within the discipline of Muay Thai.
